Really bad bug with timezone

If you try to remotely schedule food delivery for your family who may be in a different time zone, Lieferando totally messes it up. They don’t use the time where the food is located but use YOUR local time. Worse yet, there’s no indication whatsoever. My family is starving because of this.

Great service and easy to use! The only recommendation I have is for some restaurants like McDonald’s, you can’t place the same order that’s in your order history. You have to re-add things each time. The old Lieferando used to allow you to reorder the same order from your history but not since Lieferando got an update.

Fake reviews of restaurants

I noticed that many restaurants have considerably higher rate in Lieferando than in Google! I don’t think this is by accident! The restaurants probably faked stars and reviews! Lieferando is responsible for such incident!

Please stop abusing push notifications for spam

I’ve been a customer since the inception. I’ve stuck with you guys through ups, downs and acquisitions. All I’m asking is for you to give me the option to disable promotional notifications. I find it profoundly annoying, even disrespectful. I order when I’m hungry, not because I get spammy promotional push notifications. I keep having to disable notifications and reenable them when I do order so I know when my food is coming. Seriously, with this kind of policy, you are invading sacred space. In a lazy way. Put in the work, and let users fine-tune options about what they exactly want to get notifications about at least. I personally might even use that, to get promotions about two restaurants. But the way it is now, it’s pushy, lazy, spammy and desperate.

Best Pizza!

We lived in Mackenbach 2008-2013 and fell in love with Pizza Attack! When we found out we were moving back to Germany (June 2024), we were so thrilled! We knew we’d order pizza asap. Our kids love the humongous pizza. We’ve ordered Pizza from there several times already and I’m so happy to say the pizza still tastes great! I’m also very pleased that Ramstein has a Pizza Attack now. If you move to the Kaiserslautern area (KMC), buy a pizza from Pizza Attack. You won’t regret it!

My order is super late and there is no customer service to contact

DO NOT USE

The app will not tell you when something is delivered. It will sit on the being delivered stage. There is absolutely ZERO customer service or information given. Very clunky app and honestly not worth the hassle. Update: developer responded to my comment here, but not the multiple requests placed on the app. And the response in here was to blame the restaurant. It’s seems the terrible customer service is a natural talent of this company lol.

Great for visiting from out of town

This app saved me when I was visiting from another country and didn’t speak the language or know my way around.

Terrible delivery system

I’ve done food delivery in multiple countries around the world and this has been the worst one so far. First night I waited an hour for my delivery then it was canceled. Second night they never updated her my order was out for delivery, so I was unaware when they arrived. There is no way for them to message within the app which is crazy. Only via phone and my phone is an international number so I could not be reached in time. I was still charged. I would likely be using this most nights over the month. Unless they make it right, I am completely done with this service.

New app is garbage

Unintuitive and worse functionality. Where is my „order again“ button? Fix the app.

New App terrible for IPad

Before you introduce an update for your app, make sure it encompasses all that the old one could. (On IPad) 1. Can’t follow my order to see when it will be delivered 2. I can’t see my points 3. More than half of your home page is now dominated by a map of all restaurants. This is not helpful and serves no purpose. Most important is the list of the restaurants that is now just a quarter of the page on the left. This is just after one day of using your new app. There might be more problems, deficits that appear.

Worst delivery UI I’ve ever seen. Absolutely no excuse as a business to have that so bad.

Lieferando is no help with the wrong order

Lieferando adds on service charges to handle your order, but when something is delivered incorrectly they’re no help and tell you to contact the restaurant directly. Save the time and skip the middleman, don’t let Lieferando cover for bad restaurants.

RUN AWAY

The WORST customer service out there. I had an order get confirmed as delivered and received… funny thing is, I never got my order! I even requested to be met at the front of my building… I was never called nor contacted. I reached out to the company via email and chat in the app and they told me that they saw the order as delivered (the email response) and that I needed to contact the restaurant myself to have them approve a refund (the chat). I was on a vacation. I don’t know the restaurant. I do not want this hassle. I’m disgusted with this response. For all I know, the driver took the food and ran. Deleting the app and encouraging you to use ANYTHING else for your food delivery needs.

Order never arrived, do NOT use this service. It’s a scam.

Incredibly terrible app, no delivery notification and they take no responsibility

Ordered through them and was giving me a countdown, said 12 minutes so I headed downstairs as it was to my hotel and I said I would meet them outside to make it easier. Then app just said ‘arriving soon’ and I waited for over 30 minutes with no updates. Over an hour later it still says it’s arriving soon still. 2 hours after I order (delivery was 15-40 min estimate) I get a message asking if I enjoyed the food. I contact customer service and they say it was delivered an hour ago and they couldn’t find me so left at hotel reception. I went there and they said it came maybe 30 minutes ago, and I was sent no notification or called as the app and restaurant both had my number. Customer services tells me ‘they did their job’ and to contact the restaurant, I said I paid them and not the restaurant, he says ‘no, you paid then through us’, this is a lie as it is not the restaurant name on my credit card bill. Then he ended the chat and wouldn’t answer my other questions. Absolutely awful.

Unreliable app, no way to escalate issues

EDIT: Lieferando has stolen €36 from me. I ordered a burger and they took the money from my account, but never confirmed the order. Since they provide NO way to escalate issues, this bug is simple theft. I will never use this service again, and have reported them to Apple for fraud. ————————— Good selection of food, but delivery is often HOURS late, and Lieferando does not make it possible to do anything about it.

Never received food

Yikes, first order i place and i never received the food. Traveling in Germany for work and i downloaded and ordered. My cc statement has the charge. I sent a message to help center stating i didnt receive my food. Whats weird is after sending the message my order vanished from the app. A real coincidence huh? Take my money, i wait an hour after expected delivery time, i complain and the record of my order vanishes from app. Luckily, i took a screenshot earlier.

Horrible service

It is slow, expensive and there is minimum amount of order to be made. If your delivery is late or lost there is no way to make a complaint

Easy and very quick even in the snow!

Food all came correctly and was delivered quick and easy, even in a snow storm!

Program freezes at special instructions

As soon as you go into the screen to special instructions the app freezes and doesn’t allow you to continue with your order. Has happened every time now

Food as not delivered for 2 hours and when I reached the customer service, they just said can’t do anything and ended the chat.

Fast delivery

Food is good 4 stars and the delivery was fast and on time. One little thing though my husband doesn’t eat pig so I would like if the restaurant would specify in each dish if the meat was either beef or schwine or turkey or what kind of meat?? But that’s not the apps fault.

The worst delivery company!!!!

They can’t deliver a simple order from McDonalds even in 3 hours! Every 10 minutes adding another 50 minutes “wait time”!!! Never again!!!

Absolutely garbage app

Terrible service, cancels orders with no push notifications or emails or anything… happened a dozen times easily. Will never use again - go with Foodora.

Essen am Abend bestellt,, Restaurant ist bereit, aber keine Lieferando Fahrer frei. Will man auf Essen, dass man am Abend bestellt, bis 22:30 Uhr warten? Keine Möglichkeiten mit dem Kundendienst zu sprechen oder zu stornieren. Total unakzeptabel!!!! Besser bei den Wettbewerbern Uber Eat oder Wolt bestellen - die kriegen es irgendwie hin

The app needs serious development

It lacks pictures of most items. Groceries are likited to snacks and drinks. They need to add fruits, vegetables and medicines too.

DO NOT USE THIS APP they will steal your money

MULTIPLE times we have tried ordering using this app, and every time our food has NEVER ARRIVED and was never even made, yet they still charged us. They suggest we call the restaurant, which we do, and they don’t answer. Then they call the restaurant for us, they still don’t answer. Then they say they will not refund us… for FOOD NEVER DELIVERED! We never even received a text or notification the food was on the way. Sometimes even 8 hours later the app would say “Your order will arrive shortly”. At this point they owe us at least 70€. Horrible horrible app and company, DO NOT USE.

Fix the map

You have got to finally fix the tracking map. Zooming almost always zooms the window instead of the actual map. Also, your tripping feature is a scam for the drivers.

Wir haben über diese App bestellt und das Essen ist nie angekommen. Das Restaurant sagte uns, wir sollten die App wegen des Problems kontaktieren und weigerte sich zu helfen. Wir haben die App kontaktiert und nie etwas gehört. Es ist schrecklich und sie haben im Grunde unsere 28 Euro gestohlen.

Worst delivery service and customer service I experienced in my entire life

There is no customer rights with this application. After getting your money and confirming the order, they turn your food experience into a nightmare. Cant count the number of times I had an issue with my order and let go because they made it difficult to contact customer support, or even worse. You can make the effort to contact them but then end having no response or robotic answers with failure to understand the issue and unwillingness to solve it. Keep all this aside, my latest experience was really HORRIBLE and had me decide that I will not use this app ever again even if it was the only option. (Normally I only use it only when the restaurant I want is not on the other apps anyway ). So I ordered from a restaurant and after my order got accepted and paid I got a call from the restaurant saying my main dish was not available and they offered to replace it with something else. I told them clearly NO. If you do not have my order please cancel the full order!! I also contacted liefernde on chat service and explained what happened. The response was we cannot cancel! The order is on the way and they ended that chat! I recieved food that was entirely different from what I ordered and they did not bother responding to my emails of complain! Can you imagine ordering something and getting something else without having the right to claim them wrong? I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Frequently have orders cancelled after hours of waiting

More than half my orders are cancelled (usually about an hour AFTER they were supposed to be delivered), and the orders that are delivered are always late. Lieferando customer service is horrible.
